Defect
Due to an incorrect control program in the body control module, operating the light switch to the small-light position while both the adaptive driving beam headlights and fog lamps are on causes the low-beam headlights—which should illuminate simultaneously with the adaptive driving beam headlights—to turn off. This condition fails to satisfy the requirements of Safety Standards Article 32 (headlamp standards).
Corrective action
Reprogram the body control module with a corrected control program on all vehicles and eliminate the fog-lamp-only illumination mode. Additionally, distribute supplementary editions of the owner's manual and quick-start guide reflecting the corrected headlamp operating conditions.

状況
ボディコントロールモジュールにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、配光可変型走行用前照灯ＯＮかつ霧灯ＯＮの状態でライトスイッチをスモール位置に操作した場合に、配光可変型走行用前照灯と同時に点灯すべきすれ違い用前照灯が消灯し、保安基準第３２条（前照灯の基準）を満足しない。
改善措置
全車両、ボディコントロールモジュールの制御プログラムを改善プログラムに修正し、霧灯単独点灯モードを廃止する。また、前照灯の作動条件に関する記載を修正した取扱説明書および簡単早わかりガイドの追補版を配布する。
