Defect
A defect in the navigation control unit software causes the navigation system to malfunction. As a result, the camera image used to confirm blind spots directly ahead and to the left of the vehicle may not be displayed. On certain models, a separate defect in the CAN gateway — the communication control device connecting onboard control units — causes the system to fail to start the engine or e-POWER system when a navigation system fault is detected.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the navigation control unit software. On FE0-type and C28-type vehicles, also reprogram the CAN gateway software.

状況
ナビゲーションコントロールユニットにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、ナビゲーションシステムが正常に作動しなくなることがある。そのため、直前直左確認用のカメラ映像が表示されないことがある。 また、一部の車種については、車載コントロールユニット間の通信制御装置（ＣＡＮゲートウェイ）において、制御プログラムが不適切なため、ナビゲーションシステムの異常を検知した場合に、エンジン／ｅ－ＰＯＷＥＲシステムの始動ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ナビゲーションコントロールユニットの制御プログラムを修正する。 また、ＦＥ０型車、Ｃ２８型車については上記に加えて、ＣＡＮゲートウェイの制御プログラムを修正する。
