Defect
The current rectification module inside the DC-DC converter has an inadequate internal component structure. Manufacturing variation may cause the module to fail during service, forming a short-circuit path. This allows continuous current flow from the auxiliary battery, generating heat and illuminating a warning lamp. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the DC-DC converter with the corrected part.

状況
電圧変換装置（ＤＣ－ＤＣコンバータ）の電流整流モジュールにおいて、内部の部品構造が不適切なため、製造ばらつき等により使用過程で当該モジュールが故障した際、短絡回路が形成されることがある。そのため、警告灯が点灯するとともに補機バッテリから電流が流れ続けて発熱し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＤＣ－ＤＣコンバータを対策品に交換する。
