Defect
The Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) in the driver assistance system contains a headlamp beam distribution control program with insufficient logic. When switching from the low beam to the high beam, the system may incorrectly identify the switching signal as a fault. This causes a warning message to be displayed and the high beam headlamps to stop illuminating.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the serial numbers of the left and right headlamps are inspected. If the vehicle is affected, the AHS control computer is replaced with a corrected/revised part.

改善措置
全車両、左右前照灯の製造番号を点検し、該当する場合はＡＨＳ制御用コンピュータを対策品と交換する。
