Defect
On the fuel tank, the specified tightening torque for the resin pump ring on the top surface of the tank was set incorrectly, reducing the structural strength of the pump ring on affected units. Continued use may cause the pump ring to crack and fuel to leak. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the pump ring assembly with a new unit and tighten to the correct torque specification.

②燃料タンクにおいて、タンク上面にある樹脂製ポンプリングの締め付けトルクの設定が不適切なため、ポンプリングの強度が低下することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとポンプリングに亀裂が入り燃料が漏れ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、ポンプリング一式を新品に交換し、適切なトルクで締め付ける。
