Defect
In the passenger-side airbag inflator (gas generator), the propellant may degrade when exposed to prolonged temperature cycling under humid conditions. As a result, the inflator canister may rupture during airbag deployment.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the inflator with the corrected/revised part.

状況
助手席側エアバッグのインフレータ(ガス発生装置)において、ガス発生剤が湿気のある状態で長期間の温度変化にさらされると劣化することがある。このため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該インフレータを対策品と交換する。
