Defect
On the fuel tank, the resin pump ring on the top surface of the tank has insufficient heat shielding. Heat from the engine and exhaust system degrades the pump ring over time. Continued use accelerates the degradation, causing the pump ring to crack and fuel to leak. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, apply a heat shield pad to the fuel tank.

状況
①燃料タンクにおいて、タンク上面にある樹脂製ポンプリング部の遮熱性が不足しているため、エンジンや排気管からの熱影響を受けてポンプリングが劣化することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると劣化が進行して、ポンプリングに亀裂が入り燃料が漏れ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、燃料タンクに遮熱パッドを貼り付ける。
