Defect
In the lighting system, the contact structure of the high-beam/low-beam changeover switch was improperly designed, allowing solder flux to adhere to the contact surfaces on some units. Continued use causes poor contact in the changeover switch. In the worst case, the high-beam headlights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the turn signal switch assembly with one incorporating the corrected headlight switch.

状況
灯火装置において、走行用前照灯とすれ違い用前照灯切換えスイッチの接点構造が不適切なため、はんだフラックスが接点表面に付着するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、切換えスイッチが接触不良となり、最悪の場合、走行用前照灯が不灯となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品の前照灯スイッチを組付けたウィンカスイッチアッセンブリと交換する。
