Defect
On the high-beam headlights, the waterproofing design of the cover attached to the headlight relay is inadequate, allowing water to intrude into the relay terminal area during driving in rain with the driving lights on. This causes the headlight driver to falsely detect that the high-beam headlights have been switched on, and when the high-beam headlights are actually illuminated, the indicator lamp may fail to light.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the headlight relay cover with a corrected/revised part.

状況
走行用前照灯において、ヘッドライトリレーに取付けているカバ-の防水構造が不適切なため、雨天時の走行灯により、リレー端子部に水が浸入することがある。そのため、ヘッドライトドライバが走行用前照灯に切り替えられたと誤検知し、走行用前照灯が点灯した際に、表示灯が点灯しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ヘッドライトリレーカバーを対策品に交換する。
