Defect
The high-beam and low-beam headlight changeover switch uses an improperly designed contact structure, which allows solder flux to deposit on the contact surfaces. Continued use causes the switch contacts to develop poor electrical contact. In the worst case, the high-beam headlights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
Replace the turn signal switch assembly on all vehicles with a unit incorporating a corrected headlight switch.

状況
灯火装置において、走行用前照灯とすれ違い用前照灯切換えスイッチの接点構造が不適切なため、はんだフラックスが接点表面に付着するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、切換えスイッチが接触不良となり、最悪の場合、走行用前照灯が不灯となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品の前照灯スイッチを組付けたウィンカスイッチアッセンブリと交換する。
