Defect
In the low-pressure fuel pump impeller (resin impeller wheel), improper molding conditions reduce resin density, allowing the impeller to absorb fuel and swell, causing deformation. The deformed impeller contacts the pump cover, resulting in fuel pump malfunction. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving.
Corrective action
(1) On all vehicles, replace the low-pressure fuel pump with the corrected part. Owners will be notified again once parts become available. (2) On all vehicles, inspect the low-pressure fuel pump serial number; on affected units, replace the low-pressure fuel pump with the corrected part. Owners will be notified again once parts become available.

状況
低圧燃料ポンプのインペラ(樹脂製羽根車)において、成形条件が不適切なため、樹脂密度が低くなって、燃料により膨潤して変形することがある。そのため、インペラがポンプカバーと接触して燃料ポンプが作動不良となり、最悪の場合、走行中エンストに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、低圧燃料ポンプを対策品と交換する。なお、部品が準備でき次第、部品交換を改めて案内する。 ②全車両、低圧燃料ポンプの製造番号を点検し、該当するものは、低圧燃ポンプを対策品と交換する。なお、部品が準備でき次第、部品交換を改めて案内する。
