Defect
The tensioner pulley that adjusts drive belt tension for the power steering pump uses an outer resin material of incorrect specification, causing the resin section to fracture. This produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, may cause the belt to disengage from the power steering pump pulley, increasing steering effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the tensioner pulley with the corrected/revised part.

状況
パワーステアリングポンプ駆動用ベルトの張力を調整するテンショナプーリの外周樹脂部の材質が不適切なため、当該樹脂部が破損することがある。そのため、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該ベルトがパワーステアリングポンププーリより外れてハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、テンショナプーリを対策品と交換する。
