Defect
On upfitted vehicles equipped with a large-capacity battery, the electrical wiring assembly instructions for the engine compartment are inadequate, leaving insufficient clearance between certain wiring terminals and surrounding components. During use, those terminals may contact adjacent components. In the worst case, a short circuit may occur, draining the battery and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the clearance between the affected wiring and bracket will be inspected, and the clamping angle will be corrected where clearance is insufficient. Any wiring found to be damaged will be replaced with a new part. As a preventive measure on all vehicles, protective material and a warning label will be added.

状況
大型バッテリを搭載した架装車両において、エンジンルーム内の電気配線組付指示が不適切なため、当該配線の端子が周辺部品と十分な間隙が確保されていないものがある。そのため、使用過程で当該配線の端子が周辺部品と接触し、最悪の場合、短絡して、バッテリーが上がり、走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該配線とブラケットの間隔を点検し、不足しているものは締付け角度を修正する。 また、当該配線に損傷があるものは新品に交換する。 なお、予防的措置として、全車両、保護材及び警告ラベルを追加する。
