Defect
On the driver's seat or rear seat rail, an improper machining jig for the position-adjustment holes produces holes that are too narrow. As a result, the seat may not lock securely. In the worst case, the seat may move during a collision, causing excessive injury to the occupant.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the seat rail serial number. On affected units, replace the seat rail with a non-defective part.

状況
運転者席または後席のシートレールにおいて、位置調整用穴の加工治具が不適切なため、当該調整用穴の幅が狭いものがある。そのため、座席が適切に固定されず、最悪の場合、衝突時に座席が動き、乗員が過度の傷害を負うおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シートレールの製造番号を確認し、該当するものはシートレールを良品に交換する。
