Defect
On rear seat belts, improper adjustment of the assembly equipment causes the retractor lock mechanism spring to be bent and installed incorrectly. The misaligned spring interferes with surrounding components, and the seat belt may fail to lock when pulled out rapidly.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the affected rear seat belt serial numbers; if a vehicle is affected, replace the seat belt with a conforming unit.

状況
後部座席ベルトにおいて、組付設備の調整が不適切なため、ベルトリトラクタロック機構部のスプリングが屈曲して組付けられたものがある。そのため、当該スプリングが構成部品と干渉し、シートベルトが素早く引き出された際にロックしないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対象となる後部座席ベルトの製造番号を点検し、該当する場合は座席ベルトを良品と交換する。
