Defect
On large trucks, the air circuit for brake operation includes a desiccant regeneration tank that was not sufficiently evaluated for durability. This allows cracks to form in the tank, resulting in an air leak. The leak produces an audible hissing sound and activates the warning buzzer. Continued operation with the leak may reduce brake effectiveness.
Corrective action
Replace the affected tank with a corrected part.

状況
大型トラックのブレーキ作動用エア回路において、乾燥剤再生用エアタンクの耐久性の評価が不十分なため、当該エアタンクに亀裂が発生しエアが漏れるものがある。そのため、エア漏れ音がしたり警報ブザーが作動し、そのまま使用を続けると、ブレーキの効きが悪くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
当該エアタンクを対策品に交換する。
