Defect
(1) On the alternator clutch pulley, insufficient consideration was given to durability against engine vibration. Repeated extended idling or driving at specific engine speeds may cause the clutch inside the pulley to wear and fracture. This produces abnormal noise and illuminates the charge warning light. Continued use may cause the engine to stall while driving. (2) On the hood molding, insufficient consideration was given to the attachment structure. Thermal cycling causes the molding to deform, repeatedly applying stress to the mounting points and producing cracks or loosening. Continued use may cause the molding to detach and fall, creating a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
(1) On all vehicles, inspect the shape of the alternator pulley and, where applicable, replace it with a corrected part. (2) On all vehicles, add a reinforcement plate to the hood molding. Depending on the specification or damage condition of the molding, replace it with a corrected part (a molding with a reinforcement plate already installed).

状況
（１）オルタネータ（発電機）のクラッチ付プーリにおいて、エンジン振動に対する耐久性の検討が不十分なため、長時間のアイドリングや特定のエンジン回転での走行を繰返すと、プーリ内部のクラッチが摩耗して破損することがある。そのため、異音や充電警告灯が点灯し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、走行中エンストするおそれがある。 （２）ボンネットモールディングにおいて、取付構造の検討が不十分なため、温度変化によりモールディングが変形して、取付部に応力が繰返しかかることで亀裂や緩みが生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、モールディングが脱落し、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
（１）全車両、オルタネータプーリの形状を点検し、該当する場合は対策品と交換する。 （２）全車両、ボンネットモールディングに補強板を追加する。なお、当該モールディングの一部仕様または損傷状態に応じて、対策品（補強板を追加したモールディング）に交換する。
