Defect
In the fuel injection system of diesel vehicles, the specified tightening torque for the fuel pipe connecting the fuel pump to the fuel rail is incorrect. Assembly variation combined with engine vibration can cause the joint to loosen over time, resulting in a fuel leak. This may cause the engine to stall.
Corrective action
Replace the fuel pipe and clamp on all vehicles with corrected parts.

状況
ディーゼル車の燃料噴射装置において、燃料ポンプとコモンレール間を接続する燃料パイプの締付トルク指示が不適切なため、当該パイプの組付ばらつきにより、エンジンの振動等で当該締結部が緩むことがある。そのため、燃料漏れが生じてエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料パイプおよびクランプを対策品に交換する。
