Defect
On some 4-wheel-drive vehicles, the retaining clamp on the fuel tank breather hose—which vents air from the tank during refueling—was overtightened during assembly, causing cracks to form in the hose. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the hose may fracture and allow fuel to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the breather hose and retaining clamp with new parts and tighten the clamp to the specified torque.

状況
4輪駆動車の燃料タンク組付け時にブリーザホース(給油時に燃料タンク内の空気を逃がすホース)の固定用金具を過度に締め付けたものがあるため、当該ホースに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、当該ホースが破断し燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホースおよび固定用金具を新品と交換し、固定用金具を正規に締め付ける。
