Defect
On vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, the clutch control program in the transmission control unit is incorrect. When range signal noise is detected while driving in D range (including manual mode), unintended clutch control may activate. This produces a deceleration shock and, in the worst case, may compromise driving stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the transmission control unit clutch control program with the corrected software.

状況
自動変速機搭載車のトランスミッション制御コンピュータにおいて、クラッチ制御プログラムが不適切なため、Dレンジ(マニュアルモード含む)で走行中にレンジ信号ノイズを検出した場合に、意図しないクラッチ制御が作動することがある。そのため、減速感を伴うショックが発生し、最悪の場合、走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、トランスミッション制御コンピュータのクラッチ制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。
