Defect
During parts supply to the vehicle production line, part number verification for the tailgate latch mounting bolts was insufficient, resulting in bolts of lower-than-specified strength being used to install the latch. Continued use may cause the bolts to fracture, placing the vehicle out of compliance with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
The tailgate latch mounting bolts are replaced with the correct specified parts.

状況
テールゲートラッチにおいて、取り付けボルトを車両生産工程へ供給する際の部品番号確認が不十分であったため、正規品とは異なる強度の弱いボルトでラッチが取り付けられている。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとボルトが破断し、保安基準を満足しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
テールゲートラッチの取り付けボルトを正規品と交換する。
