Defect
On vehicles equipped with an idling stop function, the engine control program in the engine ECU is incorrect, causing the catalytic converter deterioration diagnostic to malfunction. As a result, the warning lamp may fail to illuminate even when the catalytic converter has deteriorated.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control unit with the corrected software.

状況
（２）アイドリングストップ機能付き車のエンジンＥＣＵにおいて、エンジン制御プログラムが不適切なため、触媒劣化診断が適正に実施されないことがある。そのため、触媒が劣化しても警告灯が点灯しないおそれがある。
改善措置
（２）全車両、エンジン制御プログラムを対策仕様に書き替える。
