Defect
On forklifts, the dust protection of the timer relay — which shuts down the engine after the operator leaves the seat for a set period — is inadequate. Dust may infiltrate the interior of the timer relay, interrupt the power supply circuit, and prevent the engine from starting after it has been shut down.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the timer relay with a new unit and apply dust-proofing treatment. In addition, install a supplemental relay.

状況
フォークリフトの電気装置において、運転手が離席した一定時間後にエンジン等を停止するタイマーリレーの防塵性が不適切なため、タイマーリレーの内部に塵が侵入することがある。そのため、侵入した塵が電源回路を遮断し、エンジン停止後に始動不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、タイマーリレーを新品に交換し、防塵処理を行う。加えて、リレーを追加する。
