Defect
The cable routed between the battery and the starter is too short, causing engine vibration to apply excessive stress to the cable terminal at the starter end. Continued use may cause the cable to fracture near the terminal, after which the engine cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the battery cable with the corrected part.

状況
電気配線において,バッテリとスタータ間のケーブルの長さが短いため,エンジンの振動により,スタータ側のケーブル端子部に過大な負荷がかかっているものがある。そのため,そのままの状態で使用を続けると,当該ケーブルが端子部近傍で破断して再始動出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両,バッテリケーブルを対策品に交換する。
