Defect
In the wiring harness connected to the generator of large buses, the power cable and signal wire are improperly secured. Vehicle vibration during driving damages and may cause a broken wire in the signal wire. Continued use prevents charge control, causing the battery to stop receiving charge from the generator and illuminating a warning lamp. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the signal wire with a new part, re-route it correctly, and secure it with cable ties.

状況
大型バスの発電機に接続されているワイヤーハーネスにおいて、電源ケーブルと信号線の固定方法が不適切なため、走行中の車体振動により信号線が損傷・断線することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、発電制御ができなくなり、発電機によるバッテリーの充電が行われず警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、信号線を新品に交換のうえ再度配策し、結束バンドで固定する。
