Defect
In the electrical system of fire trucks, the crimp connection on the fusible link terminal is improperly assembled, causing elevated resistance and heat generation at the terminal. Continued use causes the crimped terminal section to overheat and melt, breaking the electrical circuit. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fusible link with a corrected part.

状況
消防用自動車の電気装置において、電気回路内に組み込まれているヒュージブルリンクの接続端子のかしめが不適切なため、抵抗値が大きくなり端子部が発熱することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、端子のかしめ部が異常発熱して溶損し、電気回路が絶たれ、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ヒュージブルリンクを対策品に交換する。
