Defect
In refuse trucks equipped with a water-spraying system, the protective fuse is incorrectly rated. When a wiring short circuit or other electrical fault occurs, excessive current flows through the circuit. In the worst case, the wiring insulation may melt, leading to smoke or a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a correctly rated protective fuse. In addition, inspect the wiring and replace any sections showing signs of melting with new components.

状況
散水装置を取り付けた塵芥車において、保護ヒューズの選定が不適切なため、配線のショートなどの異常が発生した際に、過電流が流れ、最悪の場合、配線被覆が溶融し、発煙または発火に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、適切な保護ヒューズを追加する。 また、配線を点検し溶損が認められるものは新品に交換する。
