Defect
In the auto-dimming interior mirror, the root cause has not yet been identified; however, a short circuit in the mirror's electronic circuit may cause the resin components to melt and produce smoke. In the worst case, the control fuse may blow, preventing the engine from starting.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, as an interim measure, disconnect the auto-dimming interior mirror connector. Once the root cause is identified, the mirror will be replaced with the corrected part.

状況
自動防眩ルームミラーにおいて、原因は特定できていないが、当該電子回路が短絡して樹脂材が溶け発煙し、最悪の場合、コントロールヒューズが溶断してエンジンが始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、暫定措置として自動防眩ルームミラーのコネクタを取り外す。 原因が特定できた段階で、対策品と交換する。
