Defect
On medium-duty dump and mixer trucks, the front underrun protection bracket is incorrectly shaped. When the steering is turned to the right, the pitman arm and drag link boot may contact the front underrun protection bracket, creating a non-conformance with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the right-side bracket and stay of the front underrun protection device with corrected parts. If the boot shows damage, replace it with a new unit.

状況
中型トラックのダンプ及びミキサー仕様車において、前部潜り込み防止装置用ブラケットの形状が不適切なため、ハンドルを右に操舵した場合に、ピットマンアーム及びドラッグリンクブーツが前部潜り込み防止装置用ブラケットと干渉するものがあり、保安基準不適合のおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前部潜り込み防止装置の右側ブラケット及びステーを対策品に交換する。また、ブーツに損傷がある場合は、新品に交換する。
