Defect
On tank lorries, the bracket that joins the tank to the chassis frame is installed at an incorrect position, causing cracks to develop in the frame near the bracket mounting point. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate. In the worst case, the frame may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the frame for cracks. Where cracks are found, perform repair. On all vehicles, relocate the tank-to-frame joining bracket to the correct position.

状況
タンクローリにおいて、タンクとシャシフレームを結合する金具の取付位置が不適切なため、当該金具取付部付近のフレームに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、フレームが折損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フレームの亀裂を確認する。その中で亀裂が確認されたものは、補修を行う。また全車両結合金具の取り付け位置を変更する。
