Defect
On the pre-collision safety system (Smart Assist) camera, inadequate process control during bonding of the camera mounting bracket to the windshield glass results in insufficient adhesive strength on some units. The bracket may detach during use and, in the worst case, fall into the driver's forward field of view while the vehicle is in motion, causing the vehicle to fail to meet the driver's seat visibility standard. Additionally, the shape of the detached bracket's edge may fail to meet the occupant protection standard for interior fittings.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add an adhesive reinforcement material to the camera bracket. Note: this condition is identical to that addressed under Improvement Measures Notification No. 654, and the remedy is unchanged. Vehicles already repaired under that campaign do not require further repair.

状況
予防安全機能（スマートアシスト）用カメラにおいて、ウインドシールドガラスへのカメラ固定用ブラケットの接着工程管理が不適切なため、接着力が弱いものがある。そのため、使用過程で当該ブラケットが剥がれ、最悪の場合、走行中に落下して前方視界を妨げるため、運転者席の基準を満足しないおそれがある。また、落下したブラケットの端部形状が乗車装置の基準を満足しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、カメラブラケットに接着補強材を追加する。なお、本件は改善対策届出番号「６５４」と同一の事象であり、改善の内容にも変更はないため、既に改善対策で修理が完了した車両は改めて修理をする必要はない。
