Defect
On forklifts, insufficient design evaluation of the turbocharger results in inadequate impeller durability. Continued use under repeated high-engine-load conditions may cause the impeller to fracture and engine output to drop. In addition, exhaust emissions may exceed the large special-purpose vehicle emission regulation limits, causing the vehicle to fall out of conformance with the Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the turbocharger with the corrected/revised part.

状況
フォークリフトの原動機において、ターボチャージャーの設計評価が不適切なため、インペラの耐久性が不足している。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エンジン負荷の大きい作業を繰り返した場合、インペラが破損して、エンジン出力が低下するおそれがある。また、排気ガスが大型特殊自動車排出ガス規制の基準値を超え、保安基準に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ターボチャージャーを対策品と交換する。
