Issue
The turbine blades of the engine turbocharger have insufficient strength. When the turbocharger is operating at maximum speed and rapid acceleration is repeated, the turbine blades resonate and may sustain damage. Continued use causes engine power loss and abnormal noise and, in the worst case, the turbine shaft may fracture, producing white smoke that obstructs other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected turbocharger with a corrected part.

状況
原動機の過給機(ターボ)において、タービン翼の強度が不足しているため、ターボが最高回転域で回転している時に急加速を繰り返し行うと、タービン翼が共振し、損傷することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、エンジンの出力低下や異音が発生し、最悪の場合、タービンシャフトが折損して白煙が発生し、他の交通の妨げになるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ターボを対策品と交換する。
