Defect
The immobilizer antenna that houses the push engine starter switch was molded under improper conditions, causing thermal shrinkage to reduce the clearance between the antenna and the switch and increasing sliding resistance. Continued use may cause the switch to stick in the depressed position, which the system interprets as an emergency stop command and shuts off the engine. In the worst case, the engine may stall while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the mating rib on the push engine starter switch will be removed to restore clearance with the immobilizer antenna, and vibration-damping material will be applied to the switch.

状況
プッシュエンジンスタータスイッチを組み付けるイモビライザアンテナの成形条件が不適切なため、熱収縮により、当該プッシュエンジンスタータスイッチとの隙間が狭くなり、摺動抵抗が増加したものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該スイッチ操作時に押したまま戻らず、緊急停止操作と判定してエンジンを停止することがあり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該プッシュエンジンスタータスイッチの嵌合リブを削除してイモビライザアンテナとの隙間を確保するとともに、スイッチに防振材を貼付する。
