Defect
On small trucks, the chain stretcher and upper skid mounting bolts in the engine may be insufficiently tightened due to inadequate assembly control. Continued use in this condition causes the fastened sections to loosen, resulting in abnormal noise and engine oil leaks. In the worst case, internal engine damage or seizure causes a roadside breakdown.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the engine with a good unit.

状況
小型トラックの原動機において、チェーンストレッチャー及びアッパー側スキッドの取付けボルトの締付けが不適切なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、締付け部が緩んで異音やエンジンオイル漏れが生じ、最悪の場合、エンジンの内部破損や焼付きによって路上故障に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、良品の原動機に交換する。
