Defect
The drive motor inverter control computer software is incorrectly programmed. When the computer receives signals for automatic transmission gear position and related data, it may incorrectly identify a communication fault. As a result, the warning lamp illuminates and, in the worst case, the drive motor shuts down, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the drive motor inverter control computer software.

状況
駆動モータインバータの制御コンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、当該コンピュータが自動変速機のギヤ位置等の信号を受信する際に通信異常と判定する場合がある。そのため、警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、駆動モータが停止して走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該駆動モータインバータの制御コンピュータのプログラムを修正する。
