Defect
On the propeller shaft, insufficient press-fit depth of the universal joint into the shaft pipe results in inadequate strength at that joint. During vehicle use, cracks may develop at the affected area. In the worst case, the propeller shaft may fracture and leave the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the propeller shaft with a corrected part.

状況
プロペラシャフトにおいて、自在接手のパイプへの圧入代が不足していたため、強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、使用過程で当該部位から亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトが破損して走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、プロペラシャフトを対策品に交換する。
