Defect
On light trucks and buses equipped with a mechanical automated transmission, the transmission oil cooler hose has insufficient strength. Pressure fluctuations inside the hose may cause cracks to form on the inner surface. Continued operation allows the cracks to progress until the hose can no longer withstand the pressure, causing the hose to rupture and oil to leak. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable. Leaked oil may also create a hazard for other vehicles on the road.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the transmission oil cooler hose (supply side) with a corrected part.

状況
小型トラック・バスに搭載した機械式自動変速機において、変速機のオイルクーラーホースの強度が不足しているため、ホース内の圧力変動によりホースの内側に亀裂が発生することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ホース内側の亀裂が進行して圧力に耐えきれず、ホースが破損してオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。また、漏れたオイルにより、他車の安全な走行を妨げるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、変速機のオイルクーラーホース（送り側）を対策品に交換する。
