Defect
On medium-duty trucks, the bracket securing the relay valve for the rear brake and parking brake has insufficient strength. Vibration causes cracks to develop in the bracket. Continued operation allows the cracks to propagate until the bracket fails, disconnecting the air tube attached to the relay valve and causing an air leak. In the worst case, braking force decreases, or the parking brake applies unintentionally and the vehicle becomes unable to move.
Corrective action
Replace the affected bracket on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
中型トラックにおいて、リヤブレーキ及び駐車ブレーキ用のリレーバルブを取り付けているブラケットの強度が不足しているため、振動により当該ブラケットに亀裂が入るものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、ブラケットが破損することで、リレーバルブに接続しているエアチューブが外れ、エアが漏れ、最悪の場合、制動力が低下する、または操作をしていないにもかかわらず駐車ブレーキが作動し走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品に交換する。
