Defect
The mounting bracket for the spare tire carrier installed between the axles of refrigerated trucks was designed with insufficient strength. Vibration during driving may cause the bracket to crack. In the worst case, the bracket may fracture, causing the spare tire carrier and spare tire to detach from the vehicle and create a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
On affected vehicles, the mounting bracket will be removed or replaced with a corrected part. The spare tire carrier body will also be inspected, and any unit found to have cracks will be replaced with a new part.

状況
冷蔵冷凍車のホイールベース間に取付けたスペアタイヤ取付装置において、取付ブラケットの強度設計が不適切なため、当該取付装置の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、走行時の振動等により当該取付装置に亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、破断してスペアタイヤ取付装置及びスペアタイヤが脱落し、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
対象車両の取付ブラケットを取り外す、または対策品に交換する。また、スペアタイヤキャリア本体を点検し、亀裂があるものは新品と交換する。
