Defect
The differentials on certain large and medium trucks were assembled with improperly machined pinion gears. Continued use causes the pinion gear to seize. In the worst case, the differential breaks apart and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the differential assembly on all affected vehicles with a conforming unit.

状況
大・中型トラックの差動機において、加工不良のピニオンギヤを組付けたものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ピニオンギヤの焼付きが発生し、最悪の場合、差動機が破損して走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、良品の差動機に交換する。
