Defect
The dynamic damper installed on the rear axle differential to reduce vibration has insufficient strength in both the weight-support rubber and the retaining pins that prevent the weight from detaching. Continued use causes the weight-support rubber to break down, after which the retaining pins fracture. In the worst case, the weight detaches and becomes a road hazard, endangering other traffic. (Note: This notification adds newly identified vehicles to the recall filed on January 13, 2004, as Notification 1021.)
Corrective action
Replace the dynamic damper on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
後軸差動装置の振動を低減するために装着されているダイナミックダンパーにおいて、ウ エイト支持ゴムおよびウエイトの脱落を防止するピンの強度が不足している。そのため、 そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ウエイト支持ゴムが破損し、その後、ピンが折損して 、最悪の場合、ウエイトが脱落して他の交通の安全を妨げるおそれがある。 （備考） 本届出は、平成１６年１月１３日「届出１０２１」のリコール届出に新たに対象車を追加 するものである。
改善措置
全車両、当該ダイナミックダンパーを対策品に交換する。
