Defect
In the electric vacuum pump that supplies negative pressure to the brake booster, the internal ring (the cylinder in which the vane slides) was not adequately cleaned during manufacturing, leaving residual machining oil on some units. Continued use allows the residual oil to seep out and cause the vane to seize, disabling the vacuum pump. As a result, stopping distance is extended.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the electric brake vacuum pump assembly with the corrected part.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置に負圧を供給するブレーキ負圧電動ポンプにおいて、内部のリング(ベーンが摺動するシリンダ)の洗浄が不十分なため、加工時のオイルが残留しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、滲み出たオイルによりベーンが固着し、負圧ポンプが機能せず、制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブレーキ負圧電動ポンプ一式を対策品に交換する。
