Defect
On the speaker for the vehicle proximity warning device, the metal mounting bracket attached to the vehicle body received improper paint treatment, causing it to corrode prematurely. Continued use allows the corrosion to progress until the bracket fractures and the speaker detaches, creating a hazard to other road users.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vehicle proximity warning device speaker with a conforming unit and replace the mounting bolts with new hardware.

状況
車両接近通報装置のスピーカーにおいて、車体に取り付けるための金属ブラケットの塗装が不適切なため、早期に腐食することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、腐食が進行してブラケットが破断し、スピーカーが脱落して他の交通の妨げになるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車両接近通報装置のスピーカーを良品と交換するとともに、取り付けボルトを新品に交換する。
