Defect
In the connectors used to join brake pipes, inadequate control of manufacturing equipment has resulted in poor machining accuracy on some units, causing insufficient sealing contact at the brake pipe connection. Continued operation in this condition may allow brake fluid to leak from the connector seal, illuminating the brake warning light. In the worst case, stopping distance may be extended.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake pipe connectors with non-defective units.

状況
ブレーキ配管を接続するコネクターにおいて、製造設備の管理が不適切なため、加工精度が悪く、ブレーキ配管との接続部が密着不良となっているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、コネクターのシール部よりブレーキ液が漏れ、ブレーキ警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、制動距離が伸びるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキ配管のコネクターを良品と交換する。
