Defect

The cover of the electric air conditioning compressor has insufficient corrosion resistance, allowing moisture to enter the compressor interior. If an electrical leak occurs inside the compressor, the EV warning light illuminates and motor output is restricted. If the vehicle is then shifted to Park after stopping in this condition, the power supply is cut off, rendering the vehicle inoperable.

Corrective action

Replace the electric air conditioning compressor on all vehicles with the corrected part.

状況

エアコンの電動コンプレッサーにおいて、カバーの耐腐食性能が不十分なため、コンプレッサー内部に水分が浸入することがある。そのため、コンプレッサー内部で漏電が発生すると、EV警告灯が点灯すると共にモーター出力が制限されることがある。また、その状態で、停車後にPレンジにシフトすると電源が遮断され、走行不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、電動コンプレッサーを対策品と交換する。
