Defect
On large trucks with air brakes, the air tube routed above the DPF unit lacks sufficient heat resistance. Heat from the DPF unit can partially melt the tube, causing an air leak. This may result in reduced brake force or an inability to release the parking brake. Additionally, on refrigerated vehicles whose exhaust pipe mounting structure differs from the standard configuration, the rubber components of the exhaust pipe stay also lack sufficient heat resistance. DPF heat degrades the rubber, increasing play at the mounting point and generating abnormal noise.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, attach a heat shield to the air tube above the DPF unit. On refrigerated vehicles with the non-standard exhaust pipe mounting structure, also replace the exhaust pipe stay rubber components with the corrected parts.

状況
大型トラックのエアブレーキにおいて、ＤＰＦ装置上部のエアチューブの耐熱性が不足しているため、ＤＰＦ装置の熱の影響により、エアチューブの一部が溶損してエアが漏れるものがある。そのため、制動力の低下または駐車ブレーキが解除不能になるおそれがある。 また、標準車と排気管の取付構造が異なる冷蔵冷凍車において、排気管ステーのゴム部品の耐熱性が不足しているため、ＤＰＦ装置の熱の影響によりゴムが劣化すると、取付部のガタが大きくなり異音が発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＤＰＦ装置上部のエアチューブに耐熱シートを追加する。また、排気管の取付構造が異なる冷蔵冷凍車は、併せて排気管ステーのゴム部品を対策品に交換する。
