Defect
On vehicles on which the wheel parking brake air tank was relocated, the clearance between the tank's drain cock and the propeller shaft is insufficient. During off-road or rough-road driving, the two components may contact each other, damaging the drain cock and causing an air leak. In the worst case, the wheel parking brake may apply unintentionally, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the wheel parking brake air tank assembly and support bracket with the corrected parts.

状況
ホイールパーキングブレーキ用エアタンクを移設した車両において、当該エアタンクの排水用ドレーンコックとプロペラシャフトの隙間が不適切なため、悪路走行時に干渉する場合がある。そのため、当該エアタンクのドレーンコックが損傷しエアが漏れ、最悪の場合、ホイールパーキングブレーキが作動し、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ホイールパーキングブレーキ用エアタンク一式及びサポートブラケットを対策品に交換する。
