Defect
In the crankshaft position sensor of turbocharged engines, the internal coil has insufficient durability. Repeatedly starting the engine and immediately driving at high speed subjects the coil to excessive vibration, which may cause a broken wire in the coil. As a result, the engine may stall during driving or may fail to start.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the crankshaft position sensor with an improved part.

状況
ターボチャージャ付車両のエンジンのクランク角センサにおいて、内部コイルの耐久性が不足しているため、エンジン始動直後に高速走行するような運転を繰り返すと、過大な振動により当該コイルが断線する場合がある。そのため、走行中にエンジンが停止する、あるいは、エンジンが始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クランク角センサを改善品と交換する。
