Defect
The drainage structure at the cargo compartment sliding door lock mounting area is improperly designed, allowing water from car washing or other sources to accumulate rather than drain. This causes rust to develop inside the door lock. As a result, when the sliding door is opened, the lock may seize in the released position and fail to return, preventing the sliding door from closing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the sliding door lock with an improved part, and replace the door lock controller and sliding door hinge with new components.

状況
荷室のスライドドアロック取付部の水抜き構造が不適切なため、洗車時の水等が排出されずに溜まり、当該ドアロック内部が錆びることがある。このため、スライドドアを開いた際にドアロックが解除の状態で固着したまま元に戻らず、スライドドアが閉まらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スライドドアロックを改善品と交換すると共に、ドアロックコントローラとスライドドアヒンジを新品と交換する。
